Hello, I am Frederico Leal, a self-taught artist who finds in art therapy a moment of peace and healing.
Kriaoxy comes from the words "to create" and today, in my mother tongue, I create daily and with each creation I grow, as I get to know myself better.
I was born in Cape Verde, an archipelago country located on the West African coast. My mother tongue is Creole, the language I learned to say the most profound things, inspired by the great artists of my land.
In school I learned Portuguese and English, which allowed me to get to know fantastic works. Like those of Fernando Pessoa who made me write more in Portuguese, and the songs of Eminem that made me explore the English language more.
I ended up finding different ways to express myself in different languages and also in different art forms.
Here you will find photographs, digital illustrations, drawings, paintings and poems. In different periods of my life I found in each of these forms of expression a way to let my soul shine in the most varied colors.
And it is these lights that I will bring here, I hope to illuminate ideas that will dawn feelings in other hearts.
